Doyumsuz bir müzisyen, araştırmacı, alışılmadık bir çellist ve tanınmış bir öğretmen olan Bruno Cocset, enstrümantal ve müzikal jestin mükemmel sinerjisi için süregelen bir arayıştan beslenerek barok çelloya kendine özgü bir ses veriyor. 1996’da Les Basses Réunies’yi kuran Cocset, Alpha Label müzik basınından büyük övgüler aldı; Vivaldi, Barrière, Geminiani ve Boccherini’nin sonatlarının yanı sıra Frescobaldi’nin canzoni’lerini de içeren uzun bir diskografinin ilki olan Vivaldi’nin çello sonatlarını kaydetti.
Bruno Cocset ve Les Basses Réunies, Fransa’da (Académie Bach d’Arques-la-Bataille, La Folle Journée de Nantes, Saintes, Sablé-sur-Sarthe, Ambronay Festivalleri…) ve yurtdışında (Belçika, Hollanda, İspanya, Rusya, Çek Cumhuriyeti, Macaristan, Romanya, İzlanda, Portekiz, Quebec, Lüksemburg, İtalya, Litvanya, Polonya, İsviçre…) çok sayıda barok sahnede performans sergilemiştir.

Les Basses Reunies

The Les Basses Reunies Concert will be held on Sunday, April 16 as part of the AASSM Baroque Music Days at Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center, starting at 20.30.
The group consists of Bruno Cocset (cello, viola), Maude Gratton (harpsichord) and Richard Myron (double bass).
Being an insatiable musician, researcher, unconventional cellist, and well-known teacher, Bruno Cocset gives the baroque cello a distinctive sound, fueled by an ongoing search for the perfect synergy of instrumental and musical gesture. Cocset founded Les Basses Réunies in 1996, and received high praise from the Alpha Label music press. He recorded Vivaldi’s cello sonatas, the first of a long discography that included the sonatas of Vivaldi, Barrière, Geminiani and Boccherini as well as Frescobaldi’s canzoni.
Bruno Cocset and Les Basses Réunies have performed on numerous baroque stages in France (Académie Bach d’Arques-la-Bataille, La Folle Journée de Nantes, Saintes, Sablé-sur-Sarthe, Ambronay Festivals, etc.) and abroad (Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Russia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Iceland, Portugal, Quebec, Luxembourg, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Switzerland, etc.)

Tickets will be offered for sale on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 10:00 from kultursanat.izmir.bel.tr, Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center and İsmet İnönü Art Center. (Box offices are open during working hours on weekdays)
