İzmir Baroque “Journey from the Renaissance to Sephardic Music”

The concert named İzmir Baroque “Journey from the Renaissance to Sephardic Music” will be held on Monday, April 17 as part of the AASSM Baroque Music Days at Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center, starting at 20:30.
İzmir Baroque consists of Elisabeth Champollion (baroque flute), Linet Şaul (soprano), Güzin Teoman Özdamar (baroque oboe), Begüm Acar (cornetto), Hakan Özaytekin (baroque violin), Bülent Oral (viola da gamba), Diego Leveric (archlute), Özlem Ebesek (harpsichord) and Hüseyin Tuncel (baritone & percussion).
İzmir Baroque was founded in 2008 by the double bass and viola da gamba artist Bülent Oral and the violinist Hakan Özaytekin from the İzmir State Opera and Ballet Orchestra. Having performed chamber music together for nearly 25 years, the duo expanded over the years with the participation of artists and instruments that breathe new projects with the İzmir Baroque group.

Tickets will be offered for sale on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 10:00 from kultursanat.izmir.bel.tr, Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center and İsmet İnönü Art Center. (Box offices are open during working hours on weekdays)
